After few months of speculation, the instant messaging application Whatsapp rolled out its UPI (Unified Payments Interface) based payment System in the new beta version, according to WABetaInfo portal. UPI is the Mobile payment system introduced by the government, by using UPI payments can be done with mobile phones Without the use of bank address.

Google has launched its new payment application Tez in the last year, and in last year December Tez has 12 million users. Also, Online Recharge Portal Paytm launched UPI based payment system in the last year.
